Advocates for Community alternatives visit Fanteakwa North District Assembly

Advocates for Community alternatives visit Fanteakwa North District Assembly to discuss community- driven development project expansion.

The Advocate for Community-Driven team visit Fanteakwa North district to talk about growing our community-driven development programs.

Advocates for Community Alternatives (ACA) has been carrying out our ongoing “Oman Yiedie” programs in various parts of Ghana’s Eastern and Bono East regions as part of their dedication to sustainable, bottom-up growth.

They are currently looking to expand our activities to reach other communities due to the success of our current frameworks. The goal of this expansion is to enable communities to take the lead in their own socioeconomic development and to further improve local governance.

They met the District Assembly Management team while we were there, and they gave us a PowerPoint presentation of our work, described the project timeline, and talked about how our suggested partnership fits into the District Assembly’s Medium-Term Development Plan.
